If this truck’s name sounds familiar, it should. Ruthie’s Rolling Cafe won our 2015 Grilled Cheese Food Truck of the Year contest. Ruthie’s is a Dallas-based food truck company offering gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches made fresh-to-order. They use owner Ashlee Hunt Kleinert grandmother’s nostalgic cheesy dreamy recipes and prepare them with love in their kitchen on wheels
Their customers can choose from a wide variety of cheeses, meats, veggies, and sauces to add to their scrumptious grilled cheese. In addition, they offer gluten free bread for those patrons with dietary restrictions. Ruthie’s owns and operates three food trucks which allows them to roll to more than one location for lunch or dinner as well as serving at private events.
