What are your hours?

We’re open Monday through Friday from 8AM to 6PM and Saturday from 8AM to 2PM for brunch! Come see us!

Where exactly are you located in South Dallas?

Is there parking available?

We’ve got you covered! Free street parking is available along MLK Blvd and Colonial Ave, and there’s a parking lot in the back of the building for your convenience.

Do you have indoor and outdoor seating?

We do! Whether you want to cozy up inside or enjoy your meal outdoors on our patio, we have a space for you.

Are you family-friendly/kid-friendly?

Ruthie’s is a place for everyone — families, friends, coworkers, and neighbors. And yes, we love having little ones at the table! Little Ruthie’s meals are made just for kids. Don’t forget to check out our kid tees available for purchase.

Do you take reservations or is it walk-in only?

We welcome walk-ins every day! For larger groups, we recommend calling ahead so we can make sure we’re ready for you.

Do you have vegetarian or gluten-free options?

We have options to accommodate a variety of dietary needs. Just let a Ruthie’s team member know when you visit and we’ll make sure you find something you love.

Are your ingredients locally sourced?

Yes — and we’re proud of it. We partner with local farmers and vendors in the South Dallas area to bring you fresh, quality ingredients while supporting our community at the same time.

Do you have seasonal or rotating menu items?

Can I customize my grilled cheese?

We love a good custom order. Ask your server about available options and we’ll do our best to make your perfect sandwich.

Do you offer kids' meals?

Yes! We have a delicious Little Ruthie’s menu for the little ones. We want every member of your family to leave happy and full!

What kind of coffee do you serve and where is it sourced from?

From drip coffee to craft lattes, we serve locally roasted coffee from Tre Stelle — expertly brewed and made to pair perfectly with your meal.

Do you offer delivery?

We offer delivery for catering orders. For individual orders, we’d love to see you in person at the cafe!

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept most forms of payment, including cash, cards, Apple Pay, etc. If you have questions before your visit, feel free to give us a call.

Can I place a large group order in advance?

What types of events do you cater?

From corporate lunches and community gatherings to weddings and school events — if you’re feeding a crowd, we’re there. Ruthie’s brings the same great food and mission-driven experience to every event we’re part of.

How far in advance should I book catering?

We recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure availability. For larger events, the earlier the better! Reach out today and let’s start planning.

What is your service area for the food truck?

We’re based in South Dallas and serve the greater Dallas area. Contact us with your event location and we’ll let you know if we can make it work!

Is there a minimum order for catering?

Yes, we do have a minimum order requirement for catering. Please refer to the catering packets here. Reach out and we’ll walk you through everything.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions for catering orders?

Absolutely. Just let us know your guests’ needs when you book and we’ll do our best to make sure everyone is taken care of.

Do you provide staff and setup?

Yes! Our catering team handles the food and the setup so you can focus on enjoying your event. We want to make it as seamless as possible for you.
