Food trucks are a phenomenon that got their start only a couple years ago, predominantly in LA, New York and San Francisco. They have since spread to cities all across the US and seem to pop up at more events every day. The food in each ranges from ordinary to gourmet and includes every style imaginable with Asian, Mexican, deli sandwiches, sushi, ice cream and cupcakes, just to name a few.

Dallas was a little late to the food truck party because of parking regulations, but there are now a few spots that have daily designated areas for them, and there are frequent sanctioned parking lot events around the area. Ruthie’s schedule is posted on their or Ruthie’s page on Facebook and on Twitter @RuthiesRolling
